Take A Moment

   On my way home from visiting a cemetery,

I chose to take the longer way, rather than the highway,

driving down a country road and stopping by a trail

and take a moment to wander through the woodlands.

Had I not stopped at this moment on this particular day,

I would have missed out on seeing ferns four feet tall,

an old stone wall to lead the way, and a delicate Star Flower.
